Captivity is the first in a series of vampires novel, that began when a character from a vampire short story stepped out the story and demanded that I tell how he was first bitten. In a wild ride of creativity I told the story of how eighteen-year-old Wade Kain was kidnapped by Cassandra, brutalized and tortured and then rescued by Dr. Donovan Reed, a vampire hunter, and a vampire himself. Definitely not a romance. But some strong erotic scenes. Dark Urban Fantasy. Maybe. It really doesn't fall into the world of mythical creatures and magic, but rather into the real world, where vampires just happen to exist, well hidden among us.
